The intended audience for this training are substation and system engineers. The participants should be familiar with IEC 61850 and with the substation engineering process in general.

The training consists of 2 parts. The first part introduces the tool, the main concepts and the usage of the major tool features.

On the second part we will implement an example project. This part is highly interactive. We build together an IEC 61850 system Specification (SSDS file) and then we are using IEDs of different brands to implement this system ( SCD File). 

• Training language will be English
• Maximum number of participants: 5
• Training will be held online by means of an online training software (GoTo-Training or similar) 
• Each participant should have a PC (Windows 10)  with an internet connection,  headset, and optionally a  webcam in order to participate in the training.
• Internet shall be available at the training site for the connection to the training software. 
• Participants will be invited to training and then they must register in order to participate. With the registration training confirmation, they receive also a download link for the trial version of  Helinks STS.
